Library fines accrue for lost or damaged items only. The library does not charge daily overdue fees.

Lost & Damaged Items
Items returned with post-its, page markers, or bent pages will be charged $2 per page. Items returned with underlining or writing will be charged $1-5 per page. Items returned with permanent damage, including water, paint, ink and cut and torn pages will need to be replaced at the borrower's expense.

Items overdue by 30 days or more automatically lapse into Lost status. Lost items incur an $80 replacement fee. Patrons may replace these items themselves and have the fees waived, provided the replacement copy arrives within six months of the Lost status occurrence. Otherwise, the Library reserves the right to bill the patrons the full fee total. Lost item fees are removed from your account if the item is returned to the library.
