The SVA Library uses a proxy server to connect our users to our licensed databases from off-campus. It requires you to login with your SSO MyID credentials. 

If you encounter an error logging into a database, here are some things to try:

  • Clear your browser history, cache, and cookies.
  • Make sure you're only entering the username portion of your MyID credentials, not your full email address. 
  • Type your credentials in, don't use saved passwords.   
  • Make sure that Javascript is enabled in your browser. Here are directions for enabling Javascript in Chrome.

If you continue to have trouble, Ask Us, and please include as much information about the problem as possible: where are you accessing the databases from? Did you click a link from the library website? Please attach screenshots if possible.
