Q. How do I renew my items?

Library books, exhibition catalogs, pictures, and film scripts circulate for 6 weeks and can be renewed twice. Media, like DVDs, Blurays, and video games circulate for 1 week and can be renewed once. Items that have been requested by another patron cannot be renewed.

Items can be renewed in a desktop or mobile browser or in the GoSVA mobile app.

To renew items in a browser:

Login to the Library Catalog with your SVA MyID credentials:

Click on My Loans:

Click renew on any items you wish to renew:

To renew items in the GoSVA app:

Open the app and tap the Library tile. If you are not logged in to MyID in the app, this will open the catalog in your mobile browser, where you can follow the steps above.

When the library tile opens, tap the library card icon:

Then, tap to Renew All, or Renew selected items:
